There are millions of printers in the UK both at businesses, offices and in homes. Many people will use 2-3 printer cartridges a year, and a typical business will use many more. Less than 15% of the 65 million printer cartridges sold in the UK are recycled. That means the rest end up in landfill after only a single use. As each printer cartridge can be reused multiple times then it makes good economic and environmental sense to recycle them as much as possible.
